ICG took a majority stake in the resulting senior mezzanine tranche and continued its board representation (through its observer seat). ICG's relation dates back to 1997 when ICG supported the leveraged buyout of the company by BC Partners and again in 2002 alongside PAI.

The company is a leader in textile rental and hygiene services with operations in France and across Europe serving a wide range of customers (healthcare facilities, businesses, hotels). Elis has a very strong record of sales growth, operational excellence and cash generation with little cyclicality.
